Im trying to get rid of all clothing items that werent gifts. Im going to start a new way of dressing. I want to have a style thats ugly. Not in an over the top and gaudy way that would make it look as if im dressing intentionally 'bad' to be funny or provocative. just unexceptional but terrible clothes all the time. ideally nothing i wear would be able to be considered good to any demographic. Itll be about whatever i can wear to make myself sure that im dressed like shit, and sure that anyone - whether theyre fashion conscious or not - who catches a look sees something that seems 'off' for a reason they cant exactly figure out. Dressing so bad that people teeter on thinking that Im either some type of freak or thinking that I just made seriously wrong choices when I dressed myself that day unknowingly. it will look like I havent thought about style, clothes, or even physical appearance. Like I wouldnt be able to wrap my head around the idea of coordination even if someone tried to teach me. it makes people confused and frustrated at me, not dressing for the weather, wearing things that work their hardest to do disservice my body type, wearing my clothes backwards or inside out and other seemingly accidental awkward subtle wardrobe mistakes. I could give examples of some pieces Im thinking of wearing but that doesnt matter because it will be more about the execution. About the unsettling combination of all of the different parts. the hard part would be to make it not look forced. I think if I did this right I would be able to feel really good about it. I will be the worst dressed person in the world. i will be the worst dressed person in the world. Im assuming theres going to be many plateaus of discomfort but Ill push through them all.
